Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit position with required ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.Job Details• Work in a 40-bed acuity-adaptable Progressive Cardiac Care Unit within a hospital setting, • Cardiovascular patient population requiring cardiac monitoring and care, • Nurse-to-patient ratios vary from 1:3 to 1:5, • Uses Sunrise EMR system, • Night shift position from 19:00 to 07:30, • Required to work two weekends every four weeks,Job Requirements• Active RN license with Nursys verification, • Minimum of 1 year of recent cardiac care or telemetry nursing experience, • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications, • Current NIHSS certification, • Must provide a US Social Security Number and US address, • Driver's license, 2 professional references, and license verification required for consideration,Additional Information• Provide direct nursing care according to established protocols and coordinate multidisciplinary patient care, • Implement and monitor patient care plans, document and communicate patient status, and coordinate discharge planning, • Requires strong critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently in a stressful environment, • Royal blue scrubs required on the unit, • Auto-offer process for qualified candidates, • Local candidates will be considered at a reduced rate per facility radius rule, • COVID-19 vaccination is not required
