Technical Designer – Intimates/ApparelContract | 3 Months | Onsite (Manhattan, NY 10038) Pay ***** $40–$45 per hour (W2)About the Role We are seeking a Senior Technical Designer to join our intimates/apparel team on a contract basis. This role will be supporting the PINK intimates and apparel line. You will play a critical part in ensuring the fit, comfort, and quality of our products while collaborating closely with design and cross-functional partners.This is a fully onsite role in Manhattan, NY (zip 10038), working 4–5 days a week, ~40 hours per week.Responsibilities Execute the technical design process from development through final fit. Analyze and evaluate garments to develop correct fit specifications. Ensure products meet established fit, quality, manufacturer capability, and cost standards. Participate in/own fittings; write detailed fit comments and make pattern corrections. Develop and maintain tech packs and technical specifications. Communicate approvals and corrections to vendors/factories. Partner with factories to ensure prototypes maintain design integrity while meeting quality and cost targets. Provide guidance to Assistant/Associate Technical Designers as needed.Qualifications 7+ years of experience in technical design with intimates/apparel. Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, or equivalent experience. Strong expertise in fittings, fit comments, pattern corrections, and tech packs. Proficiency in Centric PLM, Excel, Illustrator, and Flex PLM. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to remain calm under pressure. Collaborative, approachable, and agile in a fast-paced environment. Must be willing and able to work onsite, 4–5 days per week.What Will Make You Stand Out Specific expertise with product categories (bras, panties, sleepwear, loungewear, etc.). Strong examples of detailed fit comments provided to factories/vendors. Experience balancing design intent with cost and manufacturing capabilities. Volunteer or community service involvement.
