Associate Product Developer - Bags & Accessories

At CALPAK, we’re all about creating travel essentials that make every journey easier and we’re looking for an Associate Product Developer to help bring our ideas to life. You’ll play a hands-on role across the full product cycle, from tracking samples and lab dips to managing packaging approvals and vendor communication.You’ll be reviewing prototypes, giving feedback on materials, and keeping projects on track. Most importantly, you’ll help ensure every CALPAK product meets our high standards for quality, cost, and design.Identify discrepancies or issues and escalate to the Product Development Manager.Create and maintain seasonal color cards and distribute internally.Development & Milestone TrackingVendor & Material CoordinationSupport sourcing of raw materials and components with current and new vendorsAssist in material evaluation and provide feedback on quality, fit, and feasibilityHelp with transitioning to new materials when neededPackaging CoordinationManage development and approval process for all hang tags, labels, and packaging, collaborating with vendors and cross-functional teamsReview packaging submissions and provide comments/approvals, including carton markings and hang tagsCreate and Maintain seasonal Line Sheets and distribute accordinglyProactively identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors2–5 years of experience in Product Development or a related field~ Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, Notion, and PLM systems~ Genuine passion and enthusiasm for product developmentAnnual bonus plan~ Medical, Dental & Vision insurance~Life insurance & Disability coverage~ Accrued paid time off & floating holidays~ Dog friendly office~
