As Litigation Paralegal, you’ll be at the heart of our legal team, playing a pivotal role in building compelling cases and ensuring no detail is overlooked. Your expertise will drive our litigation efforts and help us achieve outstanding results for our clients.Duties Include: Case Summarization:Assist in summarizing case details and preparing comprehensive reports for attorneys. Legal Research & Analysis:Conduct thorough research, investigate facts, and aid in developing legal arguments and motions. Document Drafting:Draft essential legal documents, including meet and confer letters, motions to compel, and discovery responses. Court Filings:Prepare legal documents for courts, ensuring all submissions are accurate and timely. Document Management:Organize and archive case documents, including Bates stamping, and maintain detailed records. Case Preparation:Compile and maintain case files, track changes in the legal framework, and prepare privilege logs as needed.Requirements: Experience:Minimum of 5 years in a litigation paralegal role. Education:Bachelors preferred.Skills: Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet software, and case management tools. Strong investigative skills and proficiency in legal research. Exceptional communication and written skills. Outstanding organizational and time management skills.Personal Attributes: Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Critical thinker with a proactive problem-solving approach. Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and staff. Quick learner and adaptable to new challenges. High emotional intelligence (EQ) is a significant advantage. High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive informationOTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION Supervisor– Reports to the Senior Trial Attorney. Status– Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. Location– Beautiful office environment at the Segerstrom Performing Arts Center, across from South Coast Plaza. Salary– Starting at $80k, depending on experience.
