OverviewThe TIAA Private Asset Management Senior Portfolio Manager leads the delivery of investment strategies for complex client relationships, bringing a deep understanding of financial markets and a tailored approach to investment management. In this role, strategic thinking and trust-building with clients are central, along with mentoring junior talent and shaping broader investment approaches. The position blends relationship leadership, portfolio oversight, and firm-wide collaboration.Key Responsibilities and DutiesLead investment management for high-value client relationships with sophisticated needs.Create and adjust asset allocation strategies to align with evolving client goals.Conduct in-depth portfolio reviews and guide long-term wealth planning conversations.Mentor Associate and Portfolio Managers to elevate team capabilities.Contribute to team investment philosophy and tactical allocation decisions.Collaborate with legal, tax, and planning experts to deliver holistic solutions.Serve as a subject matter expert in client meetings and internal strategy sessions.Identify risks and opportunities across portfolios and macroeconomic trends.Support growth of the Private Asset Management business through referrals and insights.Ensure operational accuracy, compliance, and high-touch client servicing.Additional ResponsibilitiesAll licenses must be obtained within 120 days from start date.Educational RequirementsUniversity (Degree) PreferredWork Experience5+ Years Required; 7+ Years PreferredFINRA RegistrationsSRC Indicator: Series 65Physical RequirementsPhysical Requirements: Sedentary WorkCareer Level9IC #J-18808-Ljbffr
