IT Audit Seniors and IT Audit Staff - US CitizensTracking Code 139-257 Job DescriptionThe selected IT Audit Consultants will support the external audit of a Civilian Federal Agency and provide an opinion on the component’s financial statements.The work responsibilities are varied and may include testing internal controls over financial reporting, substantive testing, assessing the agency's financial system's internal controls and risks, evaluating financial management policies for compliance, preparing audit reports and NFRs, identifying system weaknesses, and creating action plans to ensure compliance with NIST guidelines and standards.Some positions may require travel within the United States and internationally to support audit procedures.Required SkillsBachelor's Degree in an IT-related field1-4 Years of relevant experienceExcellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong client relationshipsProfessional demeanorProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)CISA certification preferred but not mandatoryMust be a US citizenRequired ExperienceFour-year Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business field from an accredited college or university1 to 4 years of work experience, including familiarity with FISCAM, FISMA, and NIST-800 security reviews (desirable)Understanding of FISCAM and Financial Audit Manual (FAM) approaches, with the ability to assess information system controls in areas such as information assurance, access control, change control, and disaster recovery (desirable)Experience in testing financial system controls, IT General Computer Controls (ITGC), and Application Controls (desirable)Ability to perform risk assessments and analysis (desirable)Job Location: McLean, Virginia, United StatesPosition Type: Full-Time/Regular #J-18808-Ljbffr
