What to ExpectTesla is seeking a highly motivated E‑ngineer to develop functional test equipment (such as dynamometers, electrical testers, and motor calibration equipment) for the Optimus with the Drive Unit Manufacturing team in Palo Alto, CA. You will work closely with Tesla's internal Product Design, Firmware, Production and Quality Engineering teams and lead cross‑functional design activities with automation equipment vendors to develop and deploy new Drive Unit and Actuator test systems. You will assume full ownership of the design, development, and optimization of the equipment and process from low to high volume while providing design for manufacturing feedback to the product design teams.
