OverviewIntermediate Designer - Architecture & Interior Design at Archinect (K—DA). Based in Brooklyn, NY, the boutique architecture and interior design studio in DUMBO specializes in high-end residential projects across New York City and surrounding region, providing comprehensive architectural and interior design services from initial concept through construction completion.We are seeking a motivated designer to contribute meaningfully to all aspects of our projects.What You'll DoSchematic design development and conceptual presentations3D modeling and rendering for client presentationsDesign development packages and material specificationsFinish and fixture selectionsConstruction document preparation and filingFurniture curation and procurementProject coordination and client communicationConstruction administration and site visitsQualifications1-3 years of professional experience in architecture or interior designProfessional degree in architecture or interior design (or equivalent experience)Hands-on experience with construction documentationGenuine passion for interior design and material explorationStrong design sensibility and meticulous attention to detailExcellent organizational skills and ability to work independentlyOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsExperience with Vectorworks and Lumion preferred but not requiredMust be authorized to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not available)Work EnvironmentWe value in-person collaboration and access to our material library as part of the design process. Our hybrid schedule typically requires 3-4 days per week in our DUMBO office, with flexible remote work supported by company-issued laptops.
