OverviewMid CI Specialist (Cyber Crime Investigator) with Security Clearance. Prescient Edge is seeking a Mid CI Specialist (Cyber Crime Investigator) to support a federal government client.Location: Washington, DC. Compensation ranges vary by assignment and market; see below for example ranges by location.BenefitsA competitive salary with performance bonus prehensive healthcare benefits, including medical, vision, dental, and orthodontia coverage.A substantial retirement plan with no vesting schedule.Career development opportunities, including on-the-job training, tuition reimbursement, and networking.A positive work environment where employees are respected, supported, and engaged.Security ClearanceSecurity clearance required is TS/SCI with a CI POLY or the ability to obtain CI POLY.ResponsibilitiesSupport CI operations in cyberspace and CI investigations in cyberspace, digital forensics in support of counterintelligence investigations, inquiries, and/or CI collections in the cyber environment.Conduct digital forensic analysis on Personal Electronic Devices (PED), intrusion investigations, and CI collection online.Develop and deliver programs of instruction in collection operations TTPs relevant to DoD authorities, and contribute to training efforts for related processes.Lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems; provide guidance in selecting and applying analytic methodologies; challenge differing perspectives where appropriate.Collaborate with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution.Develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.Identify, monitor, and assess foreign intelligence efforts attempting to collect sensitive national security information on U.S. persons, activities, and interests; assess threats from emerging technologies to U.S. operations.QualificationsGraduate from an accredited CI Special Agent credentialing school and provide certification.Must provide proof of successful completion of: INCH, CIRC, Windows Forensics Exam (WFE), FIWE from the Cyber Training Academy; DCITA courses. Commercial equivalents (e.g., A+, N+, SEC+, CEH, FOR308, FOR500, FOR504, FOR585, CHFI) are acceptable with government lead approval.Experience in conducting or supporting CI operations in cyberspace and CI investigations in cyberspace; proficiency in digital forensics in support of CI investigations or collections.Ability to identify, monitor, and assess foreign intelligence efforts and to apply understanding of CI capabilities and TTPs for analytic research.Graduate of in-residence Fundamentals of Intelligence Analysis or Military Service equivalent.Demonstrates ability to communicate understanding from complex information and to structure analysis based on trends and perspectives from multiple analysts and disciplines.Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction; ability to collaborate with IC partners.Ability to develop and present programs of instruction related to relevant collection operations and DoD authorities.At least 8 years of relevant analysis experience; 4 additional years may substitute for a bachelor's degree.Bachelor’s degree in a related field; alternate pathways may apply as noted above.Experience & EducationDesired Experience: At least 8 years in the specific labor category, with recent experience within the last 2 years.Desired Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field; substitution of 12 years of experience for a degree is acceptable per policy.Location & OtherLocation: DIA HQ / Washington, DC areaPrescient Edge is a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB).We are an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).
