Job Description

OverviewJANUS Research Group is currently seeking a Senior Analyst for a contract to support the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS, G8). The DCS G-8 is the principal military advisor to the Chief of Staff, Army (CSA) and the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA(FMC)) for the Programming phase of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. The DCS, G-8 coordinates with the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)) on all proposed programming and process recommendations related to ongoing and future acquisition programs and science and technology initiatives. The DCS, G-8 coordinates with Army Futures Command (AFC) for program funding for all elements of the future force materiel modernization enterprise. Responsibilities Provide options based on ACIDS / JCIDS standards, studies, and analyses regarding the development of warfighting capability requirements, force modernization, and rapid prototyping/fielding Provide assessments on the results of the implementation of changes to those methods and policies. Coordinate, develop, and integrate requirements options based on JCIDS/CCIDS/ACIDS standards for Army senior leaders Provide analysis, reviews, and options regarding the establishment or revision of Army policies and procedures in accordance with AR 71-9 Warfighting Capabilities Determination for Army requirements via the ACIDS process and CJCSI 5123.01 JCIDS and the JCIDS Manual Provide analysis and assist in developing possible options/courses of action for government consideration to improve or refine the requirements determination process, and other processes affecting the delivery of materiel capabilities Provide analysis, reviews, and options in support of the validation and approval of future materiel requirements, including validation of Army and Joint documents (A-CDD, ICD, IS-ICD, CDD, DCRs, and others) by the AROC and/or JROC Ensure briefing content follows specified standards and SOPs and provides necessary information to inform decisions Advise requirements stakeholders on briefing structure and content for ARBs, ACBs, AROCs as well as FCBs, JCBs and JROCs Assist in staffing and coordination of requirements products. Manage and integrate information in KMDS/CAMs for assigned portfolios. Communicate status of requirements through required approval processes. Perform mission analysis of potential requirements and prepare and brief requirements approval documents Active Secret security clearance Qualifications Desired Qualifications: How the Army Runs (HTAR) Course RQM 1010 / CLR 101: Introduction to JCIDS Course RQM 1100 series / RQM 110: Core Concepts for Requirements Management Course/Capabilities Development Course (CDC) RQM 3100 / 310: Advanced Concepts and Skills Course CLR 151: Analysis of Alternatives RQM 2500 / CLR 250: Capabilities Based Assessments RQM 2520 / CLR 252: Developing Performance Attributes Active Secret security clearance Salary and Benefits Base pay range: $120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 Benefits: 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, Medical and Dental Plans, Life and Disability insurance, Education Assistance (and more).
