Job Description Summary The VP of Franchise Portfolio Management leads Azurity’s Strategic Portfolio Management function to plan, build, and manage a balanced product portfolio through the entire lifecycle to meet assigned category targets within Azurity’s 5-year financial model. They ideate, select, and oversee development of a portfolio of assets that fit Azurity criteria, match patient needs and market opportunity with internal capabilities, and inform business development efforts. They own the product lifecycle management (PLM) process from ideation through end-of-life, leading cross-functional teams to drive development, launch, growth, and, eventually, ceasing commercial efforts. Key Responsibilities Maintain comprehensive subject matter expertise for the category through primary and secondary research, market scanning, competitive intelligence, and customer input. Ideate and select products to construct a development funnel, each with a compelling and distinct target product profile (TPP), driving progress through development, registration, and launch. Drive product enhancements and line-extensions post-launch and plan for replacement or withdrawal of commercial support at end of life. Own and drive PLM stage-gates 1-9 at scale, convening and leading cross-functional teams. Ensure criteria are met at every stage; push functions to deliver on budget and timelines. Recommend discontinuations as appropriate. Develop and maintain a balanced strategic plan for the category (stage, dose-form, technology, etc.), manage replacement of mature assets, and grow category revenues over the long term. Challenge business development to provide assets that supplement the internally developed portfolio. Develop external partnerships to access new technologies and enhance portfolio development.
