We strive to channel our employees’ knowledge and innovative solutions for our clients.ResponsibilitiesAssist with six major grant processes: Grant Agreement Drafting; Grant Set Up; Periodic Reporting; Payment Verification; Document Preparation; Grant Close Out.Contribute to the Program’s additional responsibilities such as audits, budget responses, and community progress write-ups for Congress and internal senior officials.Provide analytical assistance in formulating and implementing policies and programs relating to SCASDP grants.Apply knowledge of the Nation’s air transportation system to evaluate grant proposals using established criteria.Plan, implement, and monitor the Program and activities using grants.gov, regulations.gov, USASpending.gov and eGov best practices.Respond to requests from government officials or other agencies by developing fully cleared and coordinated DOT responses after review and analysis.Publish information about grants through regulations.gov, leveraging knowledge of Federal administrative procedures.Identify process improvements to the grant administration process.Handle inquiries relating to SCASDP grant processes and procedures with tact, including requests from Congress, State governments and local officials.Conduct studies and analyses for planning and developing policies involving all modes of transportation as it relates to connecting small communities to the national air transportation system.Conduct periodic hard and soft-copy file reviews, identify deficiencies, and report findings.Apply knowledge of the government’s DELPHI system to establish payment processes for grant recipients.Ensure all grantee submissions are filed on time and grant files meet audit standards.Draft program documentation, briefing documents, agreements, letters, press releases, and Federal Register Notices as required.Provide reporting data as necessary to PRISM and USA Spending.Perform other administrative and logistical tasks to support the responsibilities and mission of the office.QualificationsBachelor of Science Degree.Five (5) years applying progressively responsible and in-depth principles related to environmental impact on program activities.Knowledge of domestic air service and grant administration.TeleworkingPermitted: YesSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typePart-timeJob functionBusiness Development and SalesIndustriesDefense & Space #J-18808-Ljbffr
