OverviewSenior Manager, Tax - Energy and Natural Resources6 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsWhat You Will DoManage tax compliance and advisory services for individuals (Forms 1040, 1040-NR), partnerships (Form 1065), and corporations (Forms 1120, 1120-S) across a variety of industriesConduct in-depth research on complex tax matters, apply insights to client engagements, and communicate findings clearly through well-structured written reportsReview tax return preparations completed by other staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standardsEngage proactively with senior client stakeholders to identify tax issues, offer insights, and implement practical solutionsDrive client service excellence by setting high standards for responsiveness and quality, fostering long-term relationships as a trusted advisor and strategic partner in client successSupport client growth and retention through strategic planning and business developmentContribute to business development by helping with proposals, showcasing firm value, and supporting client acquisitionMentor and manage tax professionals, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career development support to build a high-performing, collaborative teamManage resources, budgets, and project workflows to resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure the timely, cost-effective delivery of client engagementsMaintain technical expertise through ongoing Continuing Professional Education (CPE), ensuring compliance and staying ahead of industry trends and regulatory changesContribute to thought leadership by authoring technical publications and leading internal training sessions to elevate firm-wide knowledge and capabilitiesRepresent the firm at industry events and networking forums, enhancing brand visibility and cultivating new business opportunitiesMinimum QualificationsBachelor/'s Degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field7+ years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting, or a combination of corporate tax and public accountingCurrent and valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) licenseProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work a hybrid schedule, typically averaging three days per week in the assigned officeFlexibility to travel for client engagements and internal meetings.
