Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Detroit Renaissance Center three times per week, at minimum .The RoleThe R2R Transformation team within Global Business Solutions – Transact To Deliver is focused on driving an extensive shift in strategy, structure, systems, processes and technology across the enterprise. We strive to be global strategic business partners, delivering world class Finance and Accounting transformational solutions. We operate as a global organization, supporting various functions including Finance, Controllership, HR, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing and a growing list of new business partnerships. As a member of the R2R transformational team, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to provide a fresh prospective and deliver business results. You will gain cutting edge technology experience (SAP S4 Hanna) and cross functional exposure that will allow you the flexibility to manage and develop your career.What You'll DoPartner with cross-functional teams to assess current processes and identify opportunities for improvementLead key initiatives across the Finance Core and R2R transformation roadmap using Agile methodologiesDefine future-state processes and system requirements to drive standardization and enhance the customer experienceCollaborate with IT and business stakeholders to implement digital solutions, including SAP S/4HANASupport testing, deployment, and hyper-care activities for new tools and processesDevelop and deliver training and communications to global audiencesCreate dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility and decision-makingBuild strong relationships across Finance, Controllership, Tax, and Transformation teamsProvide guidance and support to implementation teams and business usersContribute to special projects focused on process improvement, change management, and integrationAdditional Job DescriptionYour Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)Bachelor’s degreein Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Information Technology (Accounting preferred)5–10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting rolesHands-on experience withSAPfinancial systemsProven experience in finance and accounting system implementationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate in cross-functional teamsAbility to influence and drive change through education and relationship-buildingSkilled in transforming current-state processes and designing future-state operating modelsExceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environmentStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levelsConfidence in asking challenging questions respectfully and maintaining professionalism under pressureProactive in identifying risks and developing mitigation plansHigh proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and VisioAbility to manage multiple assignments independently and meet tight deadlinesWhat Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)Master’s degreein Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Accounting strongly preferred)Certified Public Accountant (CPA)designationExperience withSAP S/4HANAplatformsBackground in General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Treasury, or FP&A processesFamiliarity with internal controls and compliance frameworksGM DOES NOT PROVIDE IMMIGRATION-RELATED SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS ROLE.
