OverviewJoin to apply for the Sr. Development Manager - Strategic, WW - ISV, Splunk Partnership, Cisco Partnership role at Amazon Web Services (AWS).AWS is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for a world class candidate to engage with a strategic AWS Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Partner. Your job will be to work with this strategic partner to deliver value for the partner and its customers, supporting AWS strategy and drive accelerating enterprise adoption of the AWS cloud computing platform.ResponsibilitiesDrive co-innovation with the ISV partner and support the engagement of field relationships with your partner’s sales; manage the development and launch of joint solutions with the partner and coordinate on joint GTM plans globally.Establish and grow business and technical relationships while managing day-to-day partner interactions; drive top-line revenue growth for the partner and AWS and increase market adoption.Demonstrate strategic business thinking across business, markets, product, and technical challenges; convey compelling value propositions; maintain strong technical acumen in Security, Observability, Cloud and AI.Define and execute joint technology development, marketing and sales initiatives with multiple sales and technical teams within AWS and the partner.Serve as a key member of the AWS partner alliance team to define and deliver go-to-market strategies.Engage the partner’s field sales organizations, channels and end customers to enable joint opportunities.Ensure a strategic business plan for target markets and products; create detailed business plans to track progress and achievement of goals.Set and manage revenue targets; work with GTM Partner Development Managers (PDM), partner and AWS sales to achieve/exceed goals.Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., service teams, marketing, PR, legal, support) to execute the team’s business plan.Identify joint customer segments and industry verticals for a joint value proposition for using AWS.Ensure AWS sales field and partner managers work closely with each partner’s customer base to maximize success using AWS.Build the value proposition to position AWS as the partner’s preferred public cloud platform across partner product offerings.Understand partner technical requirements and guide direction of AWS product offerings with internal development teams.Prepare and present business reviews to senior management; manage complex negotiations and liaise with legal and finance groups.Ensure operational rigor across the Technology Center of Excellence (COE) and regional territory management, account management, and business reviews (internal/external).About The TeamThis position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP).
