Join EY and help to build a better working world.The opportunityAs a Sales Executive (SE) supporting the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in EY’s Government & Public Sector, you will focus on identifying, qualifying, and winning large net-new competitive pursuits. Focus areas include all EY capabilities with emphasis on technology solutions. You’ll apply your deep understanding of your client’s issues and challenges, leveraging the firm’s capabilities to originate and drive new business opportunities, increasing revenue, and deepen customer relationships. You’ll contribute to the account strategy and relationship development across EY’s Government & Public Sector (GPS) business.Key ResponsibilitiesProspecting and lead generation (demand generation)Develop and manage a multi-year sales pipelineClient relationship managementDevelop compelling win strategies and remain engaged through contract awardSales presentations and process management, including developing and presenting gate review content for the qualification phaseNegotiations of teaming agreements with industry partners and terms and conditionsSpend approximately 80% of your time actively engaging with clientsSpend approximately 20% of your time on strategy and management initiativesSkills and Attributes for SuccessYou'll thrive in a matrixed organization, balance client needs with business initiatives, and build networks across the leadership team and service lines. With coaching skills, you’ll inspire others in the market. You’ll be a trusted advisor to the EY account lead (GCSP) and the account team, acting in a consultative manner and driving revenue growth.Qualifications10-12+ years’ experience as a business development executiveA proven record of selling complex technology solutions to C-level executives in the Federal space, specifically DHSEstablished relationships across key federal agencies (e.g., ICE, DHS OCIO, USCIS FDNS, TSA, Coast Guard, CBP, Law Enforcement) with executive leadership and influential professionalsIndustry relationships with potential teaming partners, alliances, small businesses (MBE/WBE), and competitorsOutstanding client management and relationship skills, strong executive presence and influencing skillsSolid understanding of the marketplace, industry, competitive intelligence, and account informationDemonstrated expertise in managing and resolving conflictBachelor’s DegreeIdeally, you’ll also haveStrong coaching and mentoring skillsTeam selling experienceEligible for U.S. security clearanceWhat We Look ForWe prioritize an individual contributor who originates and secures new deals and can manage larger, strategic accounts.
