Job OverviewSenior Talent Acquisition Manager - Matching candidates to great job opportunities, and creating remarkable experiences every day!Location: Carlsbad, CA 92008Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pmPay: $37 - $50/hr DOEDuration: 3-6 month contract, with the possibility of going permanent based on performance and business needsTemp, possibly Temp-to-HireBase pay range$37.00/hr - $50.00/hrResponsibilitiesAct as the on-site EHS lead, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory protocolsOversee hazardous waste management processes (not hands-on handling) and coordinate with vendors for disposalRespond to and manage safety incidents (e.g., slips, trips, falls), ensuring proper corrective actions and reportingSupport and maintain OSHA recordkeeping and incident reporting (OSHA 300 Log, WC injury data, global incident reports)Conduct routine safety walkthroughs, inspections, and corrective action follow-upsManage and maintain EHS documentation, permits, and digital systems/applicationsCoordinate emergency preparedness initiatives, including drills, training, and emergency assembly box maintenanceAssist with ergonomic assessments, safety training coordination, and new hire orientationsCollaborate with vendors for lab equipment inspections, calibrations, and certificationsProvide support for radiation/laser safety (regulatory coverage already in place at NY site)Partner with leadership as the EHS team scales (Engineer, Manager, Sr. Manager)QualificationsExperience in EHS, with a focus on safety programs, risk mitigation, and regulatory complianceFamiliarity with hazardous waste oversight, OSHA recordkeeping, and emergency preparednessStrong problem-solving skills and ability to respond quickly to safety-related eventsEHS certifications (CSP or similar) are a plus, but not requiredAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
