Characterization/Test Engineer focusing on at-speed characterization and testing of high-performance analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters and ultra-low power sensor interface circuits.Job responsibilities include:Development of characterization/test plansDesign of characterization PCB boardsAssembly and debugging of characterization boardsDeveloping, maintaining, and modifying programs for automated test interfaces of characterization boards with lab equipmentQualificationsExperience with integrated circuitsFamiliarity with programming languages such as MATLAB, Visual C#, and Python is a plusExperience with standard lab characterization equipmentUnderstanding of PCB design techniques for high-speed and high-performance designs, including ADCs and DACsKnowledge of PCB power supply decoupling, shielding, and controlled impedance trace designAbility to modify and update automated characterization plans based on inputs from designersAbility to develop characterization plans based on inputs from designers and customersProficiency in capturing, analyzing, and presenting characterization data using ExcelExperience working with external vendors for component procurement and schedulingAbility to work independently, create, and adhere to schedulesWe are looking for trailblazers ...We believe that the ongoing hardware revolution can be accelerated by Omni Design’s IP cores and the emerging semiconductor embedded design ecosystem.At Omni Design, we foster an environment with talented professionals across multiple disciplines.
