In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external teams to design high-quality, cost-effective solutions for our fulfillment systems. Your projects will include retrofits for highly automated fulfillment centers and cross-dock facilities. You will work with a team of highly skilled and highly engaged engineers in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment. Our team works on hundreds of projects each year. You will be challenged; you will learn; you will work on high impact, high visibility projects; you will grow.This role requires up to 25% travel and availability to work from a corporate office when not traveling. Candidates should either live near or be willing to relocate within a reasonable commuting distance of the office. Relocation assistance may be provided.Key responsibilitiesCoordinate design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions for the fulfillment network through equipment specification, material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations.Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in very short periods of time.Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and municate the vision with a detailed roadmap and specific technical solutions to make a compelling business case with senior executives.Travel up to 25% globally to interact with internal and external business and technical leaders.BenefitsAmazon offers a full range of benefits that support you and eligible family members, including domestic partners and their children.
