OverviewGrad Co-op - Operations - Engineering (October 2025 - April 2026) - RemoteWhat You Will DoThis 7-month remote co-op program offers important project and operational experiences with the world's leading biotechnology company. This role will also support the preparation of business case proposals to Executive Engineering Leadership. During this program, you will work closely with a team of Amgen Engineers that support one of the following areas:Engineering Technical AuthorityGlobal Capital Project ManagementProject Controls and StrategyEngineering Operations ServicesEnvironment, Health and SafetyStrategic Planning & OperationsKey ResponsibilitiesWork with project design teams and expert Engineers to craft, develop, and support engineering project development, plans, standards, and equipment selectionSupport the Engineering assessments, technical feasibility, lifecycle impact, and cost analysis of potential Engineering projectsSupport the development and implementation of strategic Engineering projects and goals, including business case developmentResearch project scopes and Engineering processes to identify improvement initiatives and new innovative technologyContribute to innovative programming on safety and health to improve compliance and elevate workforce well-being while reducing operational riskWhat We Expect of YouBasic Qualifications18 years or olderGraduated with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityCurrently enrolled in an MBA program for an MBA internship OR a Masters program for a Masters internship OR a PharmD program for a PharmD internship OR Ph.D. for a PhD internship from an accredited college or university and completion of the first year of MBA OR Masters OR Pharm D OR Ph.D. program before the internship startsEnrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship or co-op assignmentMust not be employed at the time the internship or co-op startsStudent must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship or co-opPreferred QualificationsPursuing a master's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, Biomechanical), Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Data ScienceDesire to learn and support engineering principles and analyses to support project justification, design, development, and capital planningAbility to lead and deliver results in an interactive matrixed environmentStrong written and oral communication skills, relationship building, and leadership skillsExperience with general office software applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Able to manage time efficiently and work with minimum supervisionWhat You Can Expect from UsAs we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for your professional and personal growth and well-being.
