Overview School Psychologist - Bilingual Spanish/English - NYC, NY – Apply to Achieve Beyond and help children with special needs reach their goals. We are a team of therapists providing pediatric therapy across ABA, Speech, Occupational, Social Work, Physical therapy, and Special Education/SEIT services. Evaluations available throughout Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island boroughs. Responsibilities Provide evaluations to children aged 3-5 years old in natural settings. Schedule, conduct, and submit evaluation reports and documents on time, including suggested revisions. Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare centers, preschools, clinics, and other community sites. Maintain child records and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and state/federal regulations; submit required records within established timelines. Qualifications Valid NYS School Psychologist certification. Valid NYS Bilingual Extension in Spanish is a must. Passion for working with children and families; self-motivated team player who demonstrates patience and professionalism. Requirements Must be able to travel to assigned cases (driving a personal vehicle, or public transit). The ability to ascend/descend stairs; lift up to 10 pounds; sit on the floor, kneel, or crawl for extended periods.
