OverviewMercury is building financial products to help startups and small businesses scale. We’re looking to add a Senior Business Recruiter to our team. As the main hiring partner to several key leaders across the business, you’ll own the recruiting funnel for Sales & Relationship Management and have a big impact on scaling Mercury and building out our first true sales-led motion. You will tackle niche, complex searches by employing strategic and innovative sourcing techniques.ResponsibilitiesDevelop a deep understanding of Mercury’s values, brand, and productWork closely with managers and interviewers to build high-performing, diverse teamsMake a friendly first impression on candidates and act as the living embodiment of our cultural valuesRun a recruiting pipeline end to end with autonomy, focusing on engaging passive candidatesIdentify and engage top talent and provide an exceptional experience throughout the recruiting funnelGuide hiring managers and interviewers toward unbiased decisions on candidatesStay up to date on company priorities and updatesMonitor pipeline performance and share metrics with team membersChampion diversity and inclusion initiativesExperiment with new recruiting channels and analyze their effectivenessThink of ways to improve and scale recruiting processesWelcome new hires and assist with onboarding as neededQualifications5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experienceDeep experience recruiting for sales organizationsExperience influencing and partnering with multiple executive stakeholders, ideally within go-to-marketExpert sourcer who enjoys seeking out passive talentStrong empathy and intuitionClear, precise communicationCommitment to building diverse, inclusive, and high-performing teamsAbility to automate repetitive parts of the jobExperience with tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Covey, Gem or similarExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesCreative problem-solving within constraintsCompensation & BenefitsThe total rewards package includes base salary, equity (stock options), and benefits. Salary and equity ranges are competitive within SaaS and fintech and updated regularly based on reliable industry data. New hire offers consider experience, location, and internal pay equity.Salary Ranges (Target New Hire Base)US employees in New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $132,400 - $149,000US employees outside of these areas: $119,200 - $134,100Canadian employees (any location): CAD $125,100 - $140,800Mercury is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
