OverviewOf Counsel, Family Law Attorney - Part or Full Time. Onsite 2 days a week in Framingham with flexibility for part-time or full-time arrangements.ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in divorce and paternity cases, and related issues such as modifications, child support, restraining orders, and contempt actions.Maintain your own caseload as the lead attorney and work collaboratively with the managing attorney and support staff.Represent clients in court and negotiate resolutions or settlements.Qualifications3+ years of family law experience.Strong negotiation and oral advocacy skills.Courtroom experience.Able to meet deadlines and have meticulous attention to detail.Experience managing high-conflict situations/cases.Ability to work collaboratively with the team and proficiently use the firm’s case management system.Excellent organization and ability to prioritize effectively.Job Details and BenefitsBilling requirement: 20 hours per week; hourly pay $100/hour (commensurate with experience). Pay based on hours worked, including team meetings and CLE trainings.Firm provides professional liability insurance and pays for all CLEs (as required by the Firm or desired by the attorney).Location: Metrowest/Greater Boston Area; must come to the Framingham Office at least twice per week for initial client consultations and client meetings as needed.Two family law paralegals available to assist; training provided; proactive use of the case management system.About the FirmThey don’t just practice law — they fight for clients at some of the most critical moments in their lives.
