Job ***** Commercial HVAC Mechanical Estimator***** Direct Hire***** Plano, TX***** 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM***** Those who can work on W2 basis without any sponsorship are encouraged to apply.Position Overview~ We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Mechanical Estimator with a strong background in air-side and water-side mechanical systems. This role is ideal for professionals who understand the intricacies of ductwork, air handling units, chilled and hot water piping systems, and who can produce accurate, competitive estimates for large-scale commercial projects.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed estimates for air distribution and hydronic piping systems in commercial HVAC projects.Analyze and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and submittals.Perform digital takeoffs using Trimble AutoBid Mechanical & Sheetmetal.Collaborate with general contractors, engineers, and internal teams during pre-construction.Ensure estimates align with project scope, budget, and schedule.Required Qualifications~3–5 years of experience in commercial HVAC estimating, specifically in air and water side systems.~ Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Excel.~ Hands-on experience with Trimble AutoBid Mechanical & Sheetmetal is required.~ Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including ductwork, VAVs, AHUs, chilled/hot water piping, and terminal units.~ Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
