Operations and Systems Manager

Our client, a fast-growing, mid-size manufacturing organization based in San Francisco, is seeking a high-potential Operations Manager to join its team. This company operates in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where adaptability, initiative, and a willingness to learn are key to success. The Operations Manager will play a vital role in supporting and improving day-to-day production operations, while also contributing to the implementation and adoption of new systems and technologies across the business.Responsibilities Oversee and support daily production operations to ensure efficiency and product quality Assist with the evaluation, integration, and ongoing improvement of internal IT systems (e.g., ERP, inventory, and order management systems) Track and analyze key operational metrics to support data-informed decision-making Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including leadership, product, and engineering, to align operations with business objectives Identify process inefficiencies and assist in implementing solutions that enhance workflow and productivity Contribute to inventory management, logistics coordination, and fulfillment processes as needed Take a hands-on approach to addressing operational challenges and continuous improvement effortsQualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field 2–5 years of relevant experience in operations, systems, or production support Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies Excellent communication and organizational abilities Demonstrated initiative and a strong work ethic in fast-moving or ambiguous environments
