Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace Your role at Clorox:The Sr. Sourcing Manager role will be responsible for various Clorox products, primarily for the Cleaning and Brita business units. Spend will include approximately $160MM annually. The position will include direct responsibilities for team development, forecasting, negotiation, contracting, and supplier management. The role will also include leadership of cross functional teams and/or global sourcing projects. This position is responsible for sourcing strategies of existing and new products as well as support of new product initiatives and launches. Additionally, the role will serve as a key player in global sourcing work. The position will require travel up to 30% Domestically and this role, you will:Development, implementation, oversight, reviewing/refreshing of sourcing strategies and communication of those strategies with internal stakeholders and business partners Actively manage the supply chain to ensure continuity of supply and drive a sustainable cost advantage for Clorox Interacting with internal senior management and external groups to coordinate between organizations (includes creating/ maintaining strategic supplier relationships, managing/ resolving systemic supplier issues, assessing Supplier's capabilities, and communicating risk, etc.) Plan and lead projects and sourcing initiatives for the contracting of goods and/or services from US and international suppliers. Investigate and leverage the global marketplace for assigned commodities while furthering the company objectives regarding responsible sourcing and diversity suppliers Utilize eRFx tools for all phases of work; development, negotiation and management of supply contracts. Continuously evaluate business opportunities to maximize cost savings, providing the best quality and service, matching the greatest supplier capabilities with internal business partner’s needs. Manage and enhance Clorox relationship with 3rd party suppliers#LI-HybridWhat we look for: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution 10 years’ experience in supply chain, procurement, and sourcing 7 years’ experience in Sourcing related activities 5 years of experience with MS Office, especially Excel, ERP systems (SAP) and sourcing tools. Experience with reporting modules highly desired. 10 years’ experience leading strategic sourcing work MBA from an accredited institution Experience working with external (contract) manufacturing Background in developing and implementing category strategies Ability to lead cross functional teams and driving consensus CPG industry experience International experience Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to lead cross-functional teams through defined processes Proven ability to handle multiple projects/responsibilities and adapt to changing priorities as well as differing priorities with internal stakeholders Analytical Thinking / Problem Solving - Sorts through complex issues, identifies alternatives and makes recommendations.
