Equipment Specialist I Job Locations US-WI-Milwaukee - US-IL-Chicago - US-AZ-Phoenix - US-CA-Sacramento - US-OH-Columbus - US-OH-Cleveland - US-FL-Orlando - US-GA-Atlanta - US-NC-Charlotte Tracking Code 2025-11326 Overview Next 150 Construction, a wholly owned subsidiary of Gilbane Building Company, is seeking anEquipment Specialist I. The Equipment Specialist I is responsible for supporting the day to day operations of the equipment & temporary services business for Next 150 Construction. Responsibilities - Perform routine duties and transactions in equipment rental & inventory operations, re-rentals, billing (including purchase orders and invoicing), and information distribution to support the Next 150 customers. - Perform accurate data entry utilizing software, spreadsheets, and databases for equipment and consumable transactions. - Provide timely responses via phone calls and emails from internal and external customers and vendors for routine information related primarily to equipment and consumable transactions. - Support the preparation of bid packages as needed. - Conduct research on equipment, services, and processes as needed. - Maintain records for location, maintenance, repairs, and warranty of equipment. - Participate in the continuous improvement plan by identifying opportunities in the current process and documenting potential improvements. - Responsible for contract coordination with internal and external parties. - Participate in and help support safety activities and trainings. - All other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications - Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel - Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills - Ability to work autonomously and within a team, internally and externally - Good problem-solving skills - Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail - Knowledge of procurement and asset management software - Knowledge of logistics operations including equipment, warehouse, storage, and safety from start to finish WORKING ENVIRONMENT - Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds - Travel: as needed ( Connect With Us!
