About us: Tuxedo Hospitality is a New York City based hospitality group. The group currently features The Tyger, Chinese Tuxedo, Opera House and Soso's Cocktail and Dining in its portfolio with more venues to come. The Tyger is a South East Asian restaurant at the border of SoHo and Chinatown and operating for dinner service seven days a week. Our mission is to be New York City's most ambitious and celebrated East Asian Restaurant. A kitchen helmed by international chef Paul Donnelly, we offer contemporary cuisine inspired by food traditions from across East Asia not typically found in New York City restaurants. Bright, vibrant, aromatic, and fresh produce will evoke and is inspired by the dining experiences of Thailand, Malaysia, Australia and beyond. We offer a thoughtfully sourced, boutique wine and beer list that champions small and independent producers. Role and Responsibilities: Assist in driving a world class and best in category restaurant operation Continue to grow, develop and train a high-performance team Actively find sustainable growth opportunities for the business Be an ambassador and champion of team culture and guest experience Leading to achieve and maintain the highest level of standards across all departments throughout all points of service Open and Close of business, cash reconciliation, tip-pool reconciliation and reporting Delegation of FOH opening and closing checklists, as well as daily positions Ensure staffing levels are accurate and sustainable Ensure Venue Ambience and Presentation are aligned with the venue’s conceptual vision Maintain DOH and SLA compliance at all times Connect and collaborate with all members of the The Tyger leadership team on all operations Train and develop all frontline FOH staff team members Manage performance issues and mediate disputes internally Ensure the health, safety and welfare of all employees Allocate sufficient resources for the practicable elimination or control of workplace hazards/associated risks in order to maintain a safe working environment and safe systems of work.
