We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Customer / Consumer Services Specialist (Remote in the NY area) Office located in Westchester County, NY. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity. Monday Friday standard business hours 9:00am - 5:30pm EST. Temp rate will be $20.00 - $23.00 hourly. The CS Specialist will provide exceptional customer care and ensure a positive experience for consumers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints. This is a great opportunity to work with a growing and successful consumer products company.Responsibilities:Interact and assist customers via telephone, email, and/or online chatProvide support and information on products and/or servicesEngage consumers, provide support and create a positive shopping experiencePresent all information in a positive, conversational, and compassionate manner to develop relationships with consumersAnswer inbound calls from consumers in a prompt and professional mannerProvide technical assistance to consumers for multiple product collectionsField consumer questions and complaints; escalate as neededDisplay a strong customer focus, awareness, and sensitivity with the ability to gain trust and respect of colleagues and consumersMake appropriate decisions and exhibit sound judgment based on information providedReview warranty claims to determine if replacement is necessaryCreate, update and take payments for manual ordersCommunicate with global consumer service counterparts as necessaryProvide timely feedback to management regarding challenges, consumer concerns and/or product trendsPerform other related duties / projects as assignedRequirements:Excellent verbal and written communication skills including active listeningProficient computer skills with the ability to learn new softwareKnowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite-Basic Excel and math skills are requiredStrong attention to detail and follow up skillsMust be able to work efficiently and able to meet all KPIsThis is a remote temporary opportunity (possible temp - perm) in the NY area. Temp rate will be $20.00-$23.00 Hourly. Perm role will be 47K - 50K Base. Must live in USA. No sponsorship. Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
