Job Title: Office ManagerLocation: Onsite Newton, CTContract Length: 6-month contract with potential to convert to permanentPay Rate: $24.20 $26.50/hourSchedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PMPosition SummaryEcolab is seeking an Office Manager to support daily office operations at our Newton, CT location. This role will be responsible for managing administrative functions, maintaining office efficiency, and supporting senior staff with various tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, service-driven, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesAnswer and manage the main office phone lineHandle all incoming and outgoing mailMaintain office supply inventory and overall office cleanliness (dishwasher, fridge, conference rooms, and common areas)Receive water samples from mechanical contractorsOrganize and set up office eventsProvide administrative support to senior staff as neededServe as main point of contact for the building property manager, including submitting work orders and communicating notices to staffPrint and assemble hard copy requests such as proposals, bids, reports, and WMPsMaintain inventory of items required for mail-in bid submittalsComplete miscellaneous administrative and ad hoc requests as assignedRequired SkillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsTimeliness and a strong sense of urgencyProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to multi-task and manage competing prioritiesCustomer service experience and strong interpersonal communication skillsPreferred SkillsExperience managing an office environmentExperience in a receptionist or front-desk role (12 years)Notary Public certificationEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma requiredAssociates or Bachelors degree preferred2+ years of experience in an administrative or customer-facing roleAdditional InformationNon-exempt position overtime not permittedBusiness casual dress codeFull training provided in the first 30 days through one-on-one onboarding
