Get more details below.Contract Duration: 6-8 weeks | contract-to-hireWorksite Location: Robbinsdale, MN Compensation: $25.00-31.00 per hourSchedule: 40 hours per week | Start between 7:30-9:00am, Every Saturday & Sunday/Some Evening Coverage | Weekend Shifts RequiredWhat youll do as the Patient Financial Advocate:Conduct thorough financial screenings of patients and provide clear education on insurance benefits, coverage levels, and billing processesSecure insurance authorizations, payment arrangements, and collect co-payments or coinsurance prior to discharge or outpatient servicesIdentify potential payment sources, including financial assistance programs and government aid, and guide patients through application processesProvide accurate cost estimates and ensure accounts are cleared for billing in a timely mannerServe as a trusted resource for patients and families, using tact and empathy to navigate financial concernsWhat youll bring to the Patient Financial Advocate role:High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelors degree strongly preferred12 years of experience in patient financial advocacy, registration, or accountingStrong background in customer service with experience supporting patients in financial processesProficiency with Epic systems and familiarity with insurance carrier communications for service authorizationsExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle stressful situations professionallyAdvanced knowledge of insurance and government assistance programsBilingual skills in Spanish or Hmong preferredAs an equal opportunity employer, Dahl Consulting welcomes candidates of all backgrounds and experiences to apply.
