What you can expect as an Executive Assistant As the Executive Assistant to the CEO of Perkins, you will serve as a trusted partner, providing high-level administrative, logistical, and communications support. You are a detail-oriented professional who can anticipate needs, manage complex calendars, and ensure seamless coordination between the CEO and organizational leadership. You will also act as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders, helping the CEO stay informed of organizational priorities, events, and initiatives. We’d love to talk with you if you have many of the following: Manage and optimize the CEO’s calendar, including scheduling internal meetings, external engagements, and travel logistics. Prepare briefing materials, presentations, agendas, and follow-up documentation for meetings and events. Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence, reports, and communications on behalf of the CEO. Act as the primary point of contact for the CEO, ensuring timely and accurate communication with staff, board members, donors and external partners Coordinate the CEO’s participation in internal events, board meetings, school activities, and donor engagements. Lead or provide support for cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives assigned by the CEO. Facilitate effective communication and alignment between the CEO, Board, and Senior Leadership Team Perform other duties as assigned to support the CEO and the leadership team Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required 5+ years of administrative or executive support experience Experience supporting C-level executives, ideally within a nonprofit or educational environment Excellent organizational skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities Strong problem solving abilities and attention to detail Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail, etc.) Demonstrated ability to build trust, maintain confidentiality, and foster positive relationships across all levels of an organization Benefits Perkins offers a comprehensive benefits package for part time and full time employees, including: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Wellness programs available.
