Autism Therapist JobWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Autism Therapist to join our team. As an Autism Therapist, you will work with children with autism spectrum disorder and their families to help them achieve their goals. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, preferably in early childhood education, childcare, or paraprofessional roles. A background in mental health, psychology, or social work is also beneficial. Job Responsibilities: Help children learn essential life skills such as motor skills, social skills, emotional skills, and more. Work on goals with the child to help shape challenging behaviors into communication skills. Make a difference in the life of a child. Required Skills and Qualifications: A current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or ability to obtain within 45 days of hire. Paid prior experience working with kids (e.g., camp counselor, daycare, nanny, school setting, etc.). Lots of energy, playful, creative, able to think on your feet. Dependable - someone your client and their family can count on. Ability to constantly get up and down off floor, move quickly. Tech savviness - comfortable learning our data collection software and using Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams). Benefits: $20.00 - $24.50 / hour. Earn an additional $2.00 /hour for weekends and holidays. Increase for RBT certification. Paid drive time/mileage reimbursement. 401(k) plus company match. Paid time off earned for every hour worked.
