Phlebotomist

Description Job Description: Exhibit proficiency in all of the following: blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups, pediatric blood collections, difficult draws (patients in medical office buildings). Has comprehensive understanding of compliance and safety, and is able to effectively communicate the importance of compliance and safety to other employees. Possess the ability and skills necessary to provide orientation and training for patient service technicians. Skills Phlebotomist, inpatient, specimen processing Top Skills Details Phlebotomist, inpatient, specimen processing Additional Skills & Qualifications HS Diploma CPT 1 License 1 year phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting is required (Peds, ICU, High Volume, Etc) OR 2 years phlebotomy experience in a reference laboratory setting Must be open to being called and working the same day. Must be open to working 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift. Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
