Job Title: Patient Engagement Representative Job Category: Call Center Representative The Patient Engagement Representative plays a critical role in supporting patient acquisition and retention strategies through multi-channel communications. This position is part of a high-volume contact center environment, handling inbound and outbound communications including calls, emails, web chats, and SMS messages. Representatives serve as the first point of contact for patients responding to hospital marketing campaigns, physician referrals, service line navigation, and community support initiatives. Key Responsibilities: + Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, chat, and SMS using approved scripts. + Provide physician referrals in compliance with Stark Law and Safe Harbor guidelines. + Navigate service lines and assist with eligibility screening for care coordination. + Register patients for events and process payments securely. + Handle sensitive calls (e.g., data breaches, contract negotiations) using FAQs and escalation protocols. + Document all interactions accurately across multiple systems. + Conduct reminder calls and outreach for opt-in hospital services and events. + Ensure all communications align with hospital branding and professional standards. + Support multi-language calls via interpreter services. + Escalate unresolved issues and patient complaints appropriately. Required Skills & Qualifications: + Must reside in Eastern or Central Standard Time Zones. + High-volume call center experience is required. Healthcare call center experience is a plus. + Strong customer service and technical support skills. + Proficiency in troubleshooting and multi-tasking across systems. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to work flexible shifts between 8 AM - 9 PM EST. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
