Lead Bartender

And if you just love the smells, sounds, and flavors of an Italian-inspired kitchen (and beverage program!), then you belong at City House.  Our team is in search of a Bartender with strong wine and spirits knowledge and experience in making classic and craft cocktails with care, consistency, and pride.  As the main point of contact for guests at the bar, you will play a key role in providing exceptional hospitality while serving exceptionally crafted beverages. This includes using your knowledge of our food and beverage offerings to effectively sell and serve, suggesting pairings, and being familiar with local beverage options. We are looking for someone who is pleasant, skilled in beverage creation, and professional, with strong communication and teamwork skills to ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience.   Desired candidates will have:  3+ years of experience as bartender in an upscale high-volume restaurant Strong interpersonal skills and a team player personality A strong understanding of Italian wine varietals, Amari, craft and classic cocktails A genuine eagerness to provide exceptional hospitality to all guests Willingness to take direction and desire to learn and grow within the industry. Professional, polished, and personable demeanor A strong desire to be a part of a dynamic team. Previous experience with Italian cuisine  and wine  is a plus! Interact with guests in a meaningful manner. Effectively relay guest expectations to support staff. Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages as ordered. Properly execute the setup and breakdown of bar areas and service stations. Maintain the bar area and keep it in a clean and organized condition. Verify that the bar adheres to legal age requirements for serving alcohol. Participate in Pre-Shift meetings and familiarize oneself with new menu items. Perform all assigned side work relevant to the designated station. Fulfill other related duties as assigned.
