Dental Assistant Chester, Virginia Pay From: $18 per hour MUST:Experienced Dental Assistant Oral SurgeryMust have 1 plus years of experience as a Dental Assistant Oral SurgeryMust have experience with working with EMRMust have strong verbal and written communication skillsMust have an active BLSExperience working on patient under IV sedation preferredX-ray certified in Virgina highly preferredFamiliar with extractions is preferred DUTIES:Dental Assistant Surgical Assistant will responsible for, but not limited to the followingPerforming administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, charting, and filingPreparing patient charts, recording treatment plans, and updating dental recordsOperating X-ray and 3D scanning equipment and developing radiographs for diagnostic purposesPreparing and sterilizing surgical instruments, materials, and equipment in accordance with infection control and biohazard protocolsAssisting the surgeon with all chairside procedures including operatory setup, anesthesia administration, and cleanupPreparing patients for surgery and monitoring vital signs during proceduresProviding patients with information on oral health care, treatment plans, and postoperative outcomesMonitoring our stock of surgical supplies and medication and replenishing these, as neededEnsuring that instruments and equipment are effectively maintainedProviding excellent patient care at all times *Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
