This position plays a crucial role in supporting production by ensuring equipment reliability, performing repairs, and conducting routine preventive maintenance. This role handles advanced troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems, and oversees repairs, changeovers, setups, installations, and equipment upgrades. Key Responsibilities Supervise mechanics and provide daily direction on maintenance tasks. Perform and oversee advanced troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and PLC issues. Ensure preventive maintenance is completed on schedule and to standard. Review and maintain accurate records, including logs, reports, and part requisitions. Make sure all safety guards and devices on equipment are in proper use. Guide mechanics through changeovers, repairs, and upgrades to reduce downtime. Monitor spare parts inventory and equipment condition. Read and use schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Operate machine shop equipment such as drill presses, band saws, and milling machines. Complete complex upgrades and equipment integrations with little supervision. Skills and Requirements Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems. Ability to read line setup specifications, schematics, and blueprints. Hands-on experience with machine shop tools and equipment. Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. High attention to safety, quality, and detail. Interested in hearing more?
