Senior Data Analyst

OverviewSenior Data Analyst opportunity with our IT Solutions Integrator / Consulting Firm. We help clients hire the right professionals for long-term projects. Experience: 5+ years in data analytics or related fields.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Data Platforms: Collaborate with business and technology partners to build out a robust, scalable, and secure data environment.Business Data Understanding: Partner with analytic groups to analyze business-specific data sources, data elements, and relationships, including working with SAS.End-to-End Solutions: Translate high-level business requirements into fully realized analytical and reporting solutions.Advanced Analytics: Identify opportunities to apply machine learning, natural language processing, and automation across business-aligned testing teams.Exploratory Analysis: Conduct deep dives into datasets to develop strong domain knowledge and uncover insights.Risk Analysis: Apply statistical and mathematical techniques using tools such as Python, R, and SQL.Automation: Streamline processes and reporting through Python scripting, SQL optimization, and VBA automation.Agile Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies and create business / technical user stories in Jira.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve project goals.What You’ll Bring with You5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Mining, or Data Science with SAS.Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation.Hands-on experience with Python (scripting, automation, log analysis) and R.Solid experience working in Agile teams, including writing business and technical user stories in Jira.Preferred: Experience working with Freddie Mac / Fannie Mae or in the mortgage / financial services domain.Familiarity with command-line operations for executing scripts and log analysis.Strong analytical ability to distill complex datasets into actionable insights.Ability to quickly learn business operations and translate non-technical requirements into technical solutions.Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.BenefitsVisit us at :// alignity.io / careers.
