As they continue to expand, our client is hiring an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead and oversee Accounting & Finance for their group of companies.As CFO, you’ll be the strategic force behind the company’s financial health, overseeing all accounting and finance operations while driving efficiency, scalability, and profitability across the organization. This onsite leadership role offers strong compensation, performance bonuses, and a full benefits package.Base: $130 - $155k plus bonuses (based on experience).ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership to the accounting & finance teams, ensuring alignment with company goals.Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, payroll taxes, general ledger and financial reporting.Ensure Project Accounting (Billing, Cost and Accounts Payable) is handled timely and according to contract terms.Review contracts to identify and resolve potential accounting or operational issues.Monitor cash flow, financial performance and risk management to safeguard the company’s assets.Maintain robust internal controls, including periodic audits.Develop and implement financial strategies to support growth and profitability, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Identify and leverage opportunities in purchasing for cost savings, risk mitigation, and supplier relationship management.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices in accounting, finance, and human resources.Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, investors, insurance vendors, and subcontractors.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (MBA/CPA preferred).5+ years of senior-level accounting and financial leadership.Strong background in construction or manufacturing accounting.Proven ability to lead accounting teams in fast-growing or multi-entity businesses.Excellent communicator and collaborator with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.Familiarity with contract review and identifying financial implications or risks.Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.Must be technically strong with experience in ERP systems and financial software.This information is a brief job summary for recruiting purposes only and does not constitute the entire job description, duties, or requirements.Talis Group is an equal opportunity employer.
