Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.Schwab’s Wealth & Advice Solutions (WAS) organization offers industry-leading wealth management experiences, through solutions like Schwab Wealth Advisory (SWA) and Schwab Advisor Network (SAN), along with a broad range of investment products and solutions, to both retail and registered investment advisor (RIA) clients.Within WAS, the Senior Manager, Investment Offer Strategy, will be a part of the Investment & Offer Solutions (IOS) group. IOS is a team of curious, optimistic, and gritty employees responsible for managing our proprietary Separately Managed Account products and third-party product marketplaces (Alternative Investments, Managed Accounts, Mutual Funds, ETFs, Structured Products, Fixed Income, Annuities & Insurance, and 529). Our mission is to provide positive experiences for Schwab clients that invest in these products, while growing a key revenue stream.The Senior Manager, Investment Offer Strategy will help advance the IOS organization’s strategy by working directly with key leaders within IOS and across the WAS org. This role will also collaborate closely with partners across Schwab in Retail, Advisor Services, Workplace, Schwab Asset Management, and corporate functions (e.g., Risk, Finance, Legal, Compliance) to develop go-forward offer strategy supporting clients, RIAs, asset managers and Schwab. You will work on a variety of topics – How do we want our product/offer suite to look in 5 years? How do we bring XYZ product to market? Where should we invest to maintain top-of-the-line platforms? If you’re curious about answering these questions and more, we’d like to talk to this role, you’ll report to the Director, IOS Strategy.Where you will excel:Lead and support key strategic projects in collaboration with IOS offer management leaders and the senior leadership team, including:Conducting new product discoveryPerforming in-depth research such as competitive analyses, field and client interviews, and industry best practicesDesigning and analyzing offers/solutions including market sizing, financial modeling, and regulatory and risk assessmentsSynthesizing complex information, analysis to form clear recommendationsCraft compelling presentations to support the strategy process, deliver recommendations, and influence audiences at various levels across Schwab, including leadership in WAS and partner organizationsMonitor Schwab’s business results and plans, IOS results, and the industry to proactively surface potential opportunities and challenges to addressSupport IOS organizational communication and team engagement effortsWe believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site four days per week in the specified locations.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.QualificationsTo ensure that we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo,” this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degreeConsultative Experience - Minimum 3 years of business strategy experience, preferably in consulting, internal strategy, or financial services product management, and a minimum of 5+ years of total work experienceAsset management acumen - Understanding of wealth management market and investment products (e.g., mutual funds, ETFs, separately managed accounts)Strong written communication skills with ability to craft executive-level communications and presentations for internal and external audiences that articulate our vision, strategy, and progressPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience in wealth or asset management strongly preferredStrategic Planning - Strategic thinker able to scope & frame ambiguous problems, think multiple steps ahead, and recognize second order impactsExecutive audience comfort - Ability to develop and share a point of view with executive audience, collaborate & create alignment, and influence across all levels of the enterpriseHighly resourceful, adaptable, and creative problem solver who can thrive in a dynamic environment, solve issues as they arise, and drive progress in the face of ambiguityStrong project management skills, including attention to detail and the ability to proactively advance work (independently and with teams) to meet tight deadlinesMBA preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
