Our 8,000+ employees work hard as part of a team that delivers refreshment to over 30 million consumers across 13 states.Begin a journey with us at Swire Coca-Cola and belong to a community of dedicated team members who think big and believe in winning together.ResponsibilitiesDefine data requirements for forecasting and gather and validate informationDevelop forecasting strategy using commodity expertiseConfirm that forecast is meeting plant needs and adjust methodology as needed to ensure plants have right materials available for productionCreate inventory plans to ensure raw material orders meet business needs, such as promotional periods and new product introductionsBuild and maintain a comprehensive demand and inventory management database to support forecasting and analysis activities, which will also serve as basis for Company/'s purchasing commitmentsPrepare reports to post and track development and improvement of metrics and area activities. Analyze, maintain, and enhance inventory and metrics reporting for managementDevelop and implement strategies to maintain inventory and achieve cost objectives. Establish and monitor inventory and warehouse performance measuresEnsure assigned materials are on-hand and available to meet daily/weekly schedule for all in-scope production facilities and commoditiesIdentify potential inventory risks and work with Procurement Buyers, suppliers, and plants to mitigate riskEnsure vendors comply with service level agreements and resolve issues related to shipments, defective materials, and discrepanciesApprove and submit carrier claims, damaged material returns and returned goods authorizationsGather insight from Planning and other procurement areas to drive more accurate forecastingCollaborate with other functions to understand when new materials need to be forecasted to ensure on-time product launchOrder pre-production materials for initial product launchTrain junior analysts on inventory management guidelines, policies and proceduresQualificationsPlastics and Aluminum industry experience highly preferredBachelor/'s Degree in business, supply chain management, or related field requiredHigh School Diploma (or GED) required (or equivalent related years of experience)Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or CIPS Level 3 or higher preferred4+ years of demand planning experience preferredProficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OutlookProficient with an inventory/materials management system, such as SAP and FourKitesComfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment where a wrong decision can stop productionKnowledge of automated inventory tracking and managementEffective interpersonal skills, professional communication, and the ability to work autonomouslyStrong executive presence when presentingBenefitsHealth coverage (3 medical options, dental and vision). 401(k) retirement plan with company matchHealth Savings Accounts with company matchFree virtual primary care, acute care and physical therapyFree Employee Assistance ProgramCompany-paid vacation, holidays, sick time, bereavement, jury duty, maternity/parental, disability leave and volunteer timeDiscounted & free productTuition reimbursementOpportunities for career advancementSwire Coca-Cola is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer that participates in the E-Verify program as required by law.
