Finance Systems Manager

Join to apply for the Finance Systems Manager role at AAA Auto Club Enterprises What You’ll Do Act as the functional and technical lead for the Financial Systems software portfolio, overseeing planning, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of complex enterprise software solutions (cloud or on-premise). Manage a cross-functional team of system specialists and serve as the liaison between Accounting, Finance, and Information Technology to maximize utilization of licensed solutions and drive operational efficiencies. Identify opportunities to improve processes, deliver continuous improvement recommendations, and create/deliver training to finance and accounting teams. Provide subject matter expertise on current applications, future use opportunities, break/fix activities, and enhancements for senior management. Lead root-cause analysis of system issues, manage remediation, and oversee Oracle Support tickets as needed. Lead Accounting/Finance related system issues across the enterprise and collaborate with management to drive informed business decisions. Translate strategy into priorities, objectives, and action plans; ensure proper Audit and Internal Control procedures are followed. Oversee training for Accounting/Finance users and manage User Acceptance Testing and regression testing to prevent adverse downstream effects. Stay current with technology and system enhancements, communicating changes to stakeholders and updating team policies and procedures accordingly. Provide leadership, mentor staff, manage workload, and conduct performance reviews; provide backup coverage as needed. Coordinate with 3rd party providers and participate in strategic business planning with IT and business units. What You’ll Need 8+ years of relevant financial application support, with preference for Oracle EPM, EDMC, ARCS, EPBCS, FCCS, and PCMCS (including development, implementation, project management, and day-to-day administration). BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field; MA/MS/MBA preferred. Strong understanding of accounting concepts. 3-5 years of prior people management experience. Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with multiple levels of the organization and promote collaboration. Strong quantitative and financial analysis skills; solid business acumen. Results-oriented with the ability to anticipate change and adapt to client priorities. Advanced proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, MDX, Calc Scripts, Groovy) or equivalent; PYCAF architecture is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; MS Access knowledge a plus. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple deliverables, and delegate effectively. Willingness to work overtime and after hours as needed. The starting pay range for this position is: $142,300.00 - $189,200.00 Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our incentive program based on organization, team, and personal performance.
