OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall financial health and strategic planning of the company. This role involves not only managing the finance department but also acting as a business partner to the President and providing key insights to Senior Leadership. This role will develop and implement mission critical programs, and help to lead the growth of the business, the development of the people, and ensure the company’s long-term success.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain financial strategies to achieve company short-term and long-term goals and objectivesPrepare and manage the annual budget and financial forecastsConduct financial planning and analysis, forecasting and budgeting to provide insights into the company’s financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitabilityOversee financial reporting and ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirementsLead the financial integration strategy and execution for the merger of two organizations, aligning accounting systems, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes, while mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirementsCollaborate with estimators and project managers to align financial strategies with operational goals, while serving as a cross-functional people leader who fosters accountability, communication, and team development beyond the finance departmentManage cash flow andCollaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and decision-makingIdentify and assess financial risks, including market risk, credit risk, and operational riskIdentify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvementsReport to the President of the company and provide strategic financial advice and recommendations to the executive management teamDrive financial performance through performance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance management processesDesign and implement a scalable finance department structureRecruit, hire, and onboard finance team members to build a high-performing teamMentor and coach team members to support their professional growth and developmentAll other tasks and duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferredMinimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in the commercial HVAC, construction or a related industryProven track record of managing financial operations and driving strategic initiativesStrong analytical skills and ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insightsExcellent communication and presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teamsProven ability to scale finance operations in high-growth environments, including ERP and financial software system implementationExperienced in leading and expanding finance teams of 8+ direct reportsApply for this jobFirst Name *Last Name *Email *Phone *Country *Resume/CV *EducationSchool *Degree *LinkedIn ProfileWebsiteVoluntary Self-IdentificationFor government reporting purposes, we ask candidates to respond to the below self-identification survey.
