Join us on our mission to redefine STEM!ITRADE Innovations is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Director to lead our accounting operations and contribute to our organizational growth and expansion initiatives. This position is critical in establishing a robust financial framework by organizing and mapping the chart of accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic insights to senior leadership.RESPONSIBILITIES :Chart of Accounts Management :Organize and map the chart of accounts to accurately reflect all assets, liabilities, revenues, and expensesDifferentiate accounts for multiple companies / entities, incorporating company identifiers within account number stringsFinancial Analysis and Reporting :Conduct detailed monthly analysis of financial data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvementEnsure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports presented to senior leadershipProblem-solving and Process Improvement :Research and identify financial issues or discrepancies, implementing effective solutions and processesMonitor resolved issues to prevent recurrence, ensuring continuous improvementLeadership and Staff Development :Lead by example, providing mentorship and support to the finance teamCollaborate with team members to ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to excel in their roles and exceed performance expectationsWork closely with other departments to facilitate financial understanding and compliance with organizational goalsParticipate in cross-functional projects to support overall business objectivesQUALIFICATIONS :Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)Proven experience in finance and accounting roles, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysisExceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issuesStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reportingEffective leadership and mentorship abilities, fostering a positive team environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with various stakeholdersWHY JOIN US?At ITRADE Innovations, we believe in nurturing talent and encouraging growth from the ground up.
