OverviewPeople & Talent Acquisition Associate at NorthRock Partners. This role may be based in either our San Francisco or Berkeley office.This role is referred internally as Senior Advice Strategist. The base pay range is $139,000.00/yr - $173,000.00/yr. The actual pay will be based on skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.What You Will DoPartner with team members and advisors to deliver client-ready meeting prep and follow up materials which may include the development and delivery of materials in a Client Relationship Manager capacity for select clientsProvide expert client-facing financial planning and holistic advice in collaboration with advisorsLead the development of complex financial plans, including advanced cash flow, tax, insurance, and estate analysisServe as a subject matter expert in financial planning software and help drive technology integration and efficiencyPresent planning strategies and recommendations to clients in coordination with advisorsCollaborate with attorneys, CPAs, and investment professionals to ensure integrated financial solutionsMentor and support Advice Strategists, Operations, and Client Services team membersManage complex plan implementation tasks including account transfers, insurance applications, and document workflowsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and ensure planning work adheres to compliance and internal policy standardsContribute to process improvements and content development to enhance client experience and firm-wide planning capabilitiesWhat You BringBA in finance, economics, accounting or related field preferredLicensing: Series 65 and/or CFP (or equivalent required) or ability to obtain within 180 daysAdditional advanced designations (e.g., ChFC, CPA, JD, or CFA) are a plus5-7+ years of experience in the financial services industry with a focus on comprehensive financial planningProven success in a client-facing role, ideally in a B2C setting or supporting UHNW/HNW clienteleExperience across Financial Planning, Insurance, Tax Services, Estate Planning, Executive Compensation, Cash Flow Management, AccountingMastery of financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, RightCapital), CRM systems, and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate advanced planning strategies clearlyDemonstrated leadership and mentoring skillsIn-depth understanding of tax, estate, retirement, and insurance planning strategiesStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWho You AreCollaborative: you thrive working with others, sharing knowledge, and elevating team performanceClient-Centered: you are motivated by creating positive, impactful experiences for clientsGrowth-Oriented: you seek continuous improvement for yourself, your team, and the firmAdditional RequirementsWork Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United StatesBackground Check: Successful completion of a credit and criminal background check is requiredCompensation & BenefitsThe estimated base pay salary rate for this role is $139,000 - $173,000 per year. Base salaries are determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, many roles are eligible for variable pay such as bonuses, commissions, and/or long-term incentives.
