It’s challenging work with a purpose.Position SummaryProduct marketing is a vital component of the overall marketing strategy, driving understanding and awareness of our product offerings through market insights, competitive analysis, product positioning, naming, objectives and metrics, and the overall go-to-market (GTM) strategy.As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you'll position products, craft compelling messaging, and develop and launch sales enablement resources. You will act as the “voice of the customer,” gaining a deep understanding of their needs to address key questions about our products, target customers, and the best ways to reach them. This role also supports content that establishes Yes Energy as an expert in the power market industry.This cross-functional role requires close collaboration with Product, Sales, and Operations teams. You will develop engaging, event-driven content, translate customer needs into solution stories, discover new ways to engage our audience, and develop campaign strategies that strengthen customer connections and engagement. You will also monitor market events and contribute to content for social media posts and blogs.Location and StructureFull-TimeHybridReports to: Director, Product MarketingLocation: Yes Energy’s core offices: Boulder, CO; Glendora, CASalary Range: $125,000 - $145,000Primary ResponsibilitiesWork closely with Product and Sales teams to describe product offerings and develop messaging frameworks, strategy, and value propositions that resonate with select customer personas. Drive cross-functional product and feature launches in partnership with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams; own the go-to-market plan, positioning, and launch deliverables.Use insights and data to inform user narratives and programs that improve the client experience, leading to product awareness, adoption, and growth.Contribute to GTM strategy to ensure the development of the appropriate content and channels to drive acquisition and onboarding.Develop and thoroughly understand power markets and the products and data that Yes Energy offers to support market participants.Serve as the voice of the customer by synthesizing feedback and building cross-functional feedback loops with Sales and Customer Success to ensure product messaging, positioning, and roadmaps reflect customer priorities and pain points.Translate customer needs into inspiring solution narratives to fuel expansion into new markets and personas, as well as campaigns that deepen connections and drive opportunities for sales engagement.Leverage market expertise and Yes Energy’s products and analytics to create content for social media posts and blogs by monitoring market events and trends.Build marketing programs that articulate the value of solutions in the context of customer needs. Collaborate on campaign development to drive demand. Assist with the formulation of ABM campaigns for targeted segments.Leverage data (e.g., dashboards, tactical metrics, organizational KPIs) to understand engagement and product usage across the funnel and identify opportunities to drive engagement/adoption. Define sales collateral and other sales enablement tools that align with the buying process and help move prospects and customers through the sales cycle.Conduct ongoing market analysis to understand market demands in the competitive landscape and inform the definition of solution/product differentiators.Skills & AbilitiesSelf-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment, comfortable with changing priorities.Proven experience engaging participants in power markets.Technical aptitude with demonstrated ability to learn quickly and become fluent in new technologies.Adaptable to change with a passion for innovation and creative problem-solving.Metrics-driven and analytical; ability to prioritize, drive, and achieve results under time pressure.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to sell ideas through creative presentations.Strong program management and interpersonal skills.Minimum QualificationsMinimum of five years experience in the energy industry, with a strong preference for experience in North American power markets or experience at a Utility.Minimum of five years experience in Marketing, Product Marketing, Product Management, or in an analyst, operational, or trader role.Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.PreferencesExperience in SaaS, data analytics, or data science.Experience in a well-developed product marketing team within B2B SaaS is preferred.Preference for working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity.About Yes EnergyOverviewYes Energy delivers real-time market data and electric power trading decision solutions.
