With an emphasis on generative and exploratory research methods, you will be at the helm of continuous evolution and impactful change. Your vision and strategy, grounded in deep user understanding, will chart the course for future innovation.What you will doHelp identify the questions we need to answer to move strategy and execution forward. Your insights and discoveries will help inform company strategy, product experiences, and long-term roadmaps.Advocate for and develop the strategic direction of the UGC brands, acting as both a thought leader and a contributor with brand and cross-functional team leadership.Design, scope, and run user research to learn the latent and unmet needs of Scribd and Slideshare users through creative research, spanning generative, iterative, and evaluative methods.Assist multiple product managers, designers, and other cross-functional stakeholders with a wide range of research needs, from large and generative to small and tactical.Make research findings relevant and impactful through crafted insights, decks, stories, videos, and testimonials–working to ensure team engagement in user research studies and foster a common knowledge of research output to drive informed decision making.Build and implement innovative user research processes to meet product delivery goals.Leverage company-provisioned AI tools to maximize efficiencies in research processes, always maintaining appropriate human oversight for critical research impact.About you5+ years of hands-on experience designing and conducting market/product/design research with demonstrated impact on product roadmaps, strategic initiatives, design outcomes, and team processes.Ability to navigate ambiguous opportunity spaces to extract key information for a clear path prehensive knowledge of qualitative UX research approaches and methodologies, plus quantitative experience with surveys at scale.BA/BS+ in Psychology, Social Science or related field, or equivalent experience.Proven ability to use human-centered insights to answer business questions.Strong collaboration skills and ability to lead cross-functional brainstorming sessions and strategic fort owning a portion of the research roadmap and prioritizing workload to meet shifting priorities.Strong presentation skills with a creative and compelling storytelling pensation and BenefitsBase pay ranges are determined by location and role level; salaries are listed with regional California, salary range roughly $122,500 to $191,000; outside California, range roughly $101,000 to $181,000; Canada range roughly CAD 128,000 to CAD 169,500.This position is eligible for equity and a comprehensive benefits package.Benefits include health insurance, parental leave, disability plans, 401k/RSP matching, home office stipend, learning & development allowances, wellness stipends, mental health resources, paid holidays, and more.Working at ScribdAre you based in a location where Scribd can employ you?
