OverviewProgram Coordinator role at University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings). This position supports the Center for Business Law (CBL) and reports to the CBL Faculty Director and Executive Director.Classification: Level 2 / Class Code 2050 / Exempt / Part-Time / Benefitted / RepresentedAnticipated Hiring Salary Range: $35,000-$41,375 annually, commensurate with experienceRemote Work: Primarily remote with availability for periodic on-campus eventsThe position will start as soon as possible and will end June 30, 2026The Role & ResponsibilitiesUC Law SF seeks a highly motivated Program Coordinator to support all facets of the work of the Center for Business Law, which convenes leading scholars, business leaders, practitioners, regulators and students to advance the study and practice of business law. The Coordinator will report to the CBL Faculty Director and Executive Director. Responsibilities include a broad range of programmatic and administrative tasks, including event planning and execution, project management, internal and external communications (including social media), budget management, donor cultivation, and engagement with CBL participants and stakeholders. The Coordinator will help manage key initiatives such as the VC‑Backed Board Academy, the CBL Scholarship Program, CBL Roundtables, and other events for students and professionals.Plan and coordinate events, including venue booking, catering, travel arrangements, materials preparation, budget management, and post-event follow-up.Help manage all programs the center organizes or sponsors.Coordinate student workers or fellows or fellowship programs.Draft and manage content for social media and maintain the CBL website.Serve as a liaison with other departments and administrative offices across the College.Attend regular meetings with the CBL Faculty Director and Executive Director.Support communications with the CBL Advisory Board and other stakeholders.Assist with alumni and donor engagement and cultivation.Assist with other third-party funding efforts.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of relevant professional experience, particularly in project management, communications, and social media. A strong academic background and demonstrated interest in business law are a plus.
