Victaulic sales representatives are on the road meeting with customers, visiting job sites, and building relationships with key stakeholders to ensure continued success. In this outside sales role, you will: Responsibilities BECOME THE EXPERT: Learn Victaulic's products and how they provide solutions for customers, with training provided. Know the Industry: Learn grooved mechanical pipe joining methods and competitive alternatives; overcome objections from customers accustomed to traditional methods. Understand the Business: Develop a business plan with the Regional Sales Manager, execute all phases of project pursuit from inception to after-sale follow up, and lead cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements. BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS: Develop lasting relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, and owners; manage time with clients including after-hours engagements when required; collaborate with distributors and internal teams to ensure a top-tier customer experience. EDUCATE AND INFLUENCE: Educate customers on the value of Victaulic products through site visits, demonstrations, and presentations; aim to influence decision-makers to maximize sales potential. Qualifications & Attributes Bachelor's degree preferred; coaching and tuition reimbursement offered; prior sales experience selling value-added products/services is advantageous, especially in construction, PVF, or mechanical sectors; training program supports diverse backgrounds. Proven sales achievement and history of developing long-standing relationships; competitive with flexibility and resiliency to grow business year over year. Self-motivated and self-driven due to remote work with minimal supervision; professional image, engaging personality, strong problem solving, resourcefulness, and creative thinking. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with solid project management capabilities. Willingness to travel overnight as required by the territory; be prepared for field conditions (weather, physical demands, equipment handling).
